Journey

Journey
As I journey this life and path I take,
What kind of choices am I to make?

Will I choose honour, true passion and drive,
Or will I exist more dead than alive?

Will I pretend and wear a masked face,
Or will I wise-up and see love in each race?

Will I act tough but real issues evade,
Or will I admit, 'I too am afraid!'

Will I give Earth my helping hand,
Or will I just bury my head in the sand?

Will I take time and discover my skills,
Or will I seek numb with sugar and pills?

Will I be bold, be awake and feel deep,
Or will I dream dreams only in sleep?

Will I build something that lives on for years,
Or will I leave only destruction and tears?

Will I care much, love and spread hope,
Or just seek attention and constantly mope?

Will I cease climbing because I might fall,
Or will I choose life and give it my all?
